Description

This new skimmer for Atlantic offers a more durable body construction than the PS4o00 & 4500 series design, similiar to the Big Bahama series. The Matala filter pad offers a more forgiving pre-filter, requiring less frequent cleaning intervals than traditional filter foam.
(i.e. you can go 10-14 days between skimmer cleaning compared to every 5-7 days.) 
The more durable lid design on the PS3900 allows for larger rock options to cover the skimmer. Basically this skimmer is a "beefier" than the PS 4000 and has a better prefilter.
