Description

Pondmaster pressurized filters are both biological and ultraviolet filters, designed to eliminate green water once and for all, conserving as much water as possible.

Thie biological media surrounds a special agitation mechanism that is manually rotated back and forth in an agitating motion while expelling unwanted debris into the back wash and then rinse cycles.

The bioloical filter will reduce debris on a microscopic level, making the water healthier for the fish and plants.  A magnetic pump can be used to pressurize the chamber, with large amounts of water.  These processes further accelerate the breakdown of debris.

The unique agitator design is used to expell excess debris inside the filter.  It can be operated manually by pulling the lever back and forth while running the backwash cycle.

The final rinse cycle is very similar to the back wash but allows clean water into the pressurized chamber.
